Apple has updated Mac Pro and XServe (finally). New specs boost up to two 3.2Ghz quad-core Xeons, 4 terabytes of disk space and 32 gigabytes of RAM. Default option for graphics is Radeon HD2600, with maximum of 4x Radeon 2600HD’s in place which makes possible to use 8 (eight!) 30″ Cinema Displays. Geforce 8800GT and Quadro FX 5600 are also available. Impressive specs indeed. Wonder how Linux would run on this…

Applehound has released list of 68 known and reproducible bugs found in iPhone. Ars Techica also has a nice roundup of this bugreport. Although 68 bugs might sound like a huge number, it is not. Applehound themselves concluded that iPhone is, even with these bugs, a very solid product:
We have spent more than 40 hours tapping around the iPhone screens in an effort to find issues with the applications. This was not an easy task. The OS X graphical interface and applications are extremely solid! The bugs range from minor display issues to application crashes. All 68 are should be reproducible by every iPhone owner!

iPhone has been hot topic in the news lately. However, one thing I noticed, the reviewers have some strange urge to break the iPhone.
Will it Blend has definitely the most brutal iPhone killing to date. They literally turn the iPhone to dust! Check to video for a heart-breaking iPhone kill.

Ars Technica has also released their (very detailed and nice) review of iPhone. And of course, they just had to kill the iPhone and perform autopsy. iFixit has cleaner autopsy pictures.

Wired also just had to tear iPhone apart. And this guy managed to break his iPhone under 24 hours.

Please people, stop destroying iPhones
